01 — what I've built

Projects

Quant finance

Probabilistic models for sport and markets, tested against real outcomes.

Sloop

Football odds, modelled from scratch and compared with the bookmaker's. Value bets get flagged where the price looks too generous, and every pick is paper-traded so the track record stays honest.

Troop

Trading ideas, treated as testable hypotheses. Each one gets a model and is measured against real market data, and only what the statistics back up makes the cut.

In the lab

Passion projects

Built with my wife, Presca, for the things we love doing together.

Mind

WordStriker

Multiplayer word search, Kahoot-style. We couldn't find one for more than two players, so we built private rooms for up to 20, then published a word search book on Amazon whose puzzles reveal hidden Chinese characters.

Giving back

2015

Bali

10 days in Les Village on Bali's north coast: teaching English to local youths, building and placing artificial reefs, and painting the school playground.

2018 – 2020

Laos

LeggoLaos: 14 days leading a team of 23 youths in Nong Luang Village, building brick fences around the village primary school and teaching its students.

2026

Zimbabwe

3 weeks with Reachout Development Initiatives: coaching the youth football team, teaching entrepreneurship to women in the sewing project, and visiting villages on mission trips.

In the works

A football team for youths

The dream: give young people an avenue to pursue football and grow their talent. Just an idea for now.
